When out in the field, forest rangers and scientists made waterproof notebooks very popular. Now outdoor leaders have made it a practice as well. I have often carried one on a trip and even provided them for our staff and students. With it, we carry ideas into the field and record spiritual insights to take home. In my ministry role, I am often writing 1 or 2-page teachings, both to take out in the field or ideas discovered in the field of ministry. This is the place to find them. Most of my writing finds me at some intersection of Leadership, Creation Theology, faithful discipleship, and disciple-making.
